The Men of Emma
Emma in Pop Culture
Emma has been adapted many times over, although it is not quite as popular as Pride and Prejudice, it is one of Austen's most loved stories. Even still, the list of retellings are impressive; from the traditional book interpretation, to the modern movie "Clueless," to a comic by the same creators who brought us The Avengers. The clip above is from Emma, The Musical and gives us an interesting interpretation at Mr. Knightley's proposal. The list compiled below are adaptions that include a look, not only of Emma herself, but of the men in her life as well.
